Hello, I'm Ryan C.

My fascination with social entertainment began growing up as an introvert in small towns with no fun nearby. It grew quickly through college and 14 years of managing movie theaters & amusement parks. As my work experience progressed to lead bigger businesses and live in larger cities, my passion increased with it. However, the more people I entertained and lived near, the less real connections I experienced (largely due to being an introvert). This led me to wonder if the power of entertainment could be used to easily connect people through fully hosted events that are comfortable, fun, AND social. One fateful day the answer came to me and Switchboard Games was created! In 2016, I began hosting in person events that were designed to encourage people to easily engage in small groups while focusing on fun. Various forms of themed entertainment were spread out at multiple stations. Each round saw players switch stations and make new friends while enjoying different fun. When social distancing became necessary in 2020, we enthusiastically pivoted our event format and focus to be able to remotely hosted virtual, hybrid, and in person events for students, corporations, and residential communities. I'm genuinely thrilled to now be able to bring people together from across the world through unique fun (over 1750 groups since 2020)!
